I don't know anything about this train - I was told that there wasn't any train transporation in NZ before I got there, so I didn't plan on any. I would guess this train must go across country between the East and West coasts, but I don't know for sure. |

I had tea (dinner) with Patsy here after my horse trekking adventure. It was a grand meal - corned beef (silverback), a veggie much like spinach (silver beet) and potatoes. This is my first exposure to home cooking and it's even better than hot pies. |

I didn't get to see Queenstown either - I chose the tour of Maniatoto and the highlight of that bus trip was the sheep on the road. |
