Saturday morning found me huffing and puffing (from packing my bags and lugging them down to the car) as I climbed the stairs to the 2nd floor lair of the Christchurch Guild of Weavers and Spinners. I was told it was a fairly small meeting - only a dozen or so of the 110 members were there.  There was no program, just a wonderful group of ladies with spinning wheels  sharing and spinning.  Everyone made me feel right at home and very welcome. I didn't catch everyone's name, but I will try to get the names of everyone of whom I got a picture.  The new magazines and pattern books I  brought were a big hit and everyone loved the Online Linie rayon eyelash yarn.  All were quite kind in their comments about my "ack-rylic" scarves.  :)   The meeting adjourned around 2pm and I headed south to Oamaru for the night.
